Today was another beautiful day in sunny Florida. John completed the restoration of the teak on the bridge and it turned out awesome! We walked to Winn Dixie to do our grocery shopping. Then we took a cab back to the harbor. We shared the cab with another couple who were heading back to Boot Key Harbor as well. Shortly after arriving back on the boat, Cindy called and said she and Jerry, and Mary and Steve (their friends they are traveling with) had arrived in Marathon. John picked Cindy and Jerry up in the dinghy and brought them to the boat. We had a nice, but too short visit and then they had to leave for Key West. They are, however, returning to Marathon later tonight. We are meeting them for breakfast tomorrow morning before they head north on their motorcycles to Fort Myers and then home.

Happy Hour was spent on the back deck of our boat tonight. We had a nice visit with Norm and Sue. It seems like we haven't been spending as much time with them as usual. Both of us have been working on boat projects lately. That never ends though. There are constantly new projects popping up and old ones that we tend to put off. Both of our boats look better than when we left on this trip. And that is a good thing.
