Sue doing her Edith Ann impersonation. If you are too young to know who Edith Ann is, ask your mother.
John had ordered 2 batteries from Norm and Sue's friend Dan. He brought them home from work with him and then Norm helped John get them on the boat and installed. Sue and I went for a walk while they were working on that. I was worried about them getting the batteries up onto the boat since we are at anchor and the batteries and the guys were in the dinghy. They used the davit for the dinghy to lift the batteries up onto the boat. They said it worked really slick. So, now we have good, strong, power. I'm so glad to have that fixed before going to the Bahamas.
Afterwards, Norm, John, and Dan met us at Lorelei's and we had dinner at the restaurant there. Every night they have entertainment. Tonight it was a mother, father, and a 13 and 15 year old daughter. They were really good. There was a couple from Columbus, Ohio sitting at the next table. They had on their Ohio State jackets. Go Buckeyes! Apparently, they go to a fair number of home games. Nice people!
Tomorrow morning Norm is coming back to our boat to give John a hand hooking up an isolator (whatever that is). As I understand it, once that is operational, our inverter will charge when we run the engines. That will be cool. That's all I know for now.
