Picture of the screen covering the doorway.We just finished watching Xavier University lose to Marquette. How disappointing! UC won last night though. So, we still have a home team to root for.
Remember yesterday, I wrote about the two little girls on the boat moored next to us? Well, today we were eating lunch on the back deck and they were swinging on the rope like yesterday. One of them fell in and started to panic. The other one held on to the rail and threw her foot over the side and told the one in the water to grab hold of her leg. She did and held on until the dad came out and pulled her out of the water. They went inside the boat. She changed her clothes and then was right back out on the bow swinging on the rope again.
Today I took a piece of screening and bound the edges in canvas. John put a snap in each corner and snapped it in place over the space of the opened side door. So, we have air and no bugs. It looks fine and works well. Now we have to figure out how to do that for the back door. John also had me make a cover for the Honda generator and the gas can. This is so people won't know what's under the cover and want to steal the generator and / or the gas can.
Tomorrow we plan on leaving here at 8:00 A.M. We'll see if the weather cooperates. Til tomorrow....
