That's what I'm talking about.

Florida is full of lovely flowers.

I missed blogging yesterday. After gentle prodding from my father-in-law, I am back on track today.

Yesterday morning, first thing, John took the oil pressure sender off of the generator and took it along to All Keys Diesel to get a new part. It's not very far at all, so walking was no problem. They had the part on hand and for $18.28 our generator is fixed once more. It would be nice if every repair cost less then $20, but, at least this one did. It took John less than an hour to fix. We had Happy Hour on Norm and Sue's boat and discussed when to leave and where to go. We have pretty much decided that we are staying here for the Seafood Festival and leaving either the 13th or 14th. We are trying to get our chores caught up before leaving.

Today, John continued to work on sanding doors and putting coats of polyurethane on them. They really look nice. I, on the other hand, spent the entire morning in the laundromat. This marina has 6 washers and 6 dryers and there is almost always a line of people waiting to use them. They have no hot water and the washers fill so slow that they take longer then the dryers. Waiting for the dryers isn't usually an issue. It costs $4 a load because water is expensive here. I've met a lot of nice people in the laundromat because you have a lot of time to chat. (Chatting is one of my favorite things to do.)

We are counting down the days until our next visitors arrive. 3 more days. Til tomorrow....
