Sister Boat to Ernest Hemingway's Boat.

Harry French, lunchtime entertainer at restaurant.

This picture is self explanatory.

Today we enjoyed another beautiful day in the sun. The wind picked up a little and we got wet traveling in the dinghy because of the waves. Sue, John, and I went by dinghy to investigate a marina. It was really nice, but there is only 3 feet of water approaching the harbor. Once you are in the marina, it gets deeper, but that doesn't help us. There is a nice restaurant and a big Bass Pro store. There is a boat inside the store that is the sister to Ernest Hemingway's boat he used here in Islamorada. That store was so well stocked. We spent a little time and a little money while there.

We are having battery issues. It seems that even after running our generator and getting everything charged up, the engine / house batteries are really run down in the morning. They are 4 1/2 years old. So, we ordered some from Norm and Sue's friend Dan. He owns a tire store here in Islamorada. Who does that sound like? I took a picture of his copyrighted logo. I though it was pretty funny, especially since his hair is getting rather thin on top.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll check in again tomorrow.
