KEY LARGO

This is a cut through the mangrove trees. I thought it looked cool.

This morning Sue, John, and I met at the Dockmaster's office to see about calling a cab to go to the grocery store. We called Mom's Taxi Service and a guy about our age showed up to take us to the store. He didn't look anything like anyone's mom. We did our reprovisioning for the Bahamas. I feel like we have enough food on board to last us until next year. The freezer is so full, you have to push it with both hands until it latches and then, step back when you open it. But, we fit it all in. It took almost two hours to find places for all of the food and enter it in my inventory.

We left the harbor at noon and by 2:30 or so, we stopped and anchored out at Key Largo. We went real far huh? The water is so clean in the Keys. It was a lot warmer today, getting into the upper 80s. We will probably be here for a few days as we are waiting for mail from home. First, we need to find someplace that will allow us to have it delivered there. Then we will move up to Biscayne Bay and leave from there.
