John and I went exploring in our dinghy again this morning. We hadn't gotten very far when we were pulled over by the water patrol. Our dinghy registration numbers and seal are on Plexiglas panels and used to hang on the front sides of the dink. Well, during the storm in Marathon, those panels had both broken in half. Therefore, they were hanging down on the inside of the dinghy instead of the outside. The officers asked about our registration and we showed it to them. We said that perhaps it would be better if we painted the numbers on the dinghy instead of hanging the panels. They told us that the way we were doing it was better because the painted numbers fade so easily and the stickers don't stick very well to the sides of the boats. They said we should use thicker Plexiglas. They also asked to see our life jackets, which was no problem. When we went back to the boat, John got busy and cut panels the same size as the ones that had broken in half. He Superglued the broken pieces to the new pieces and "Voila", the problem was fixed. This afternoon, we were playing cards on the back deck when a group of dolphins came around to feed. There were probably 8 to 10 of them. They would all be in one area trying to get to their food. I tried to take pictures, but by the time the lens opens and closes, they are back under water. I got one picture of one fin, but it's small, it looks more like a shark. Oh, well, I'm sorry there are no pictures today. When I typed in today's entry, there were two paragraphs, but when it posts, it's all lumped into one. I've tried to edit it several times, but it keeps going back to one paragraph.
