Today didn't turn out quite the way we planned. We left our anchorage a bit earlier than we had planned and headed for Mangrove Marina on Tevenier. This marina isn't open on Tuesday, so we couldn't call yesterday. We called at 9:00 A.M. and got a recorded message that said they open on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. So, we called at 10:00 A.M. and we were already near the marina. The lady was very nice, but she said the water wasn't deep enough for us to come into the harbor. We called around to other marinas and the only one that fit our requirements was Plantation Yacht Club and we had passed it about three miles ago. We needed fuel ($4.25 a gallon), water, a pump out, laundry facilities, and near a grocery store. The marina's rate is $2.50 per foot, so we are only staying one night. The marina is right beside a park. There is an amphitheater, tennis courts, baseball fields, and a swimming pool. After doing laundry, I went to the pool and relaxed for an hour and a half.

During our short cruise today, I went inside the boat and there was a finch in the salon. Then. later, the finch was up on the bridge. I should have taken its picture, but I didn't. Sorry, there are no pictures today.
