This morning I left to go grocery shopping before Pete came to work on the air conditioner. It was fixed, and he was gone by the time I got back. This time he replaced the thermostat and it is wonderful in the boat. Even the galley stayed cool while I cooked and cleaned up the dishes. I fixed ham, potatoes, and string beans for dinner. John called it comfort food. It is nice to have a stocked galley again and the desire to cook.

After lunch, John drove to St. Augustine to pick up the "donut" and some kind of bolt, both to be used to align the engine. Al is coming back tomorrow. Hopefully, when he leaves tomorrow, it will be finished and the boat can get put back together. Right now you cannot even walk into the front stateroom. That's where everything is being stored that had to get out of the way.
