The two seafood platters the four of us ordered for dinner

Sign in the Outback Crab Shack

Another sign at The Outback Crab Shack. Note: No shoes, no shirt, no problem.

It was so windy and the current so strong this morning when we were trying to leave Jacksonville Metropolitan Marina. We stopped for fuel on the Ortega River before getting very far. Then it was smooth sailing (cruising). We had a little rain and after the rain it became cooler and still quite windy. We saw more crab pots than we had seen in a long time. It was like a mine field.
We moved on to the Outback Crab Shack on Six Mile Creek. Jim and Craig recommended this place yesterday when we were visiting. What a wonderful recommendation. We are the only two boats on the dock. The bar / restaurant is something else. We ate dinner there. They have two person platters, so each couple ordered a different platter and shared. We ordered one grilled seafood platter and one fried seafood platter. The food was outstanding. We are planning to go back for breakfast in the morning.
