What an ugly day it was today. It was gray, humid, and rainy all day long. The boat stayed cool all day though and that is a very good thing. We expected Al to come this morning and put our boat back together. However, that didn't happen. John spoke to him around noon and at that point, we still thought he was coming today. Now, it won't be until Monday because he went out of town for the weekend. Everything else is the same as its been.
There is a boat here in the harbor (Chris and John are the owners) that has a shade hung from the grab rail above the side windows on the outside of the boat. Chris made it out an outdoor sunshade fabric she bought at Lowe's. It looks nice and you can see through it from inside the boat, but it keeps a lot of heat out of the boat and doesn't make the air conditioner work so hard. I think that is going to be on my list of things to do, once the boat gets put back together and my sewing machine is back on board. I have three boat sewing projects planned and can't wait to get at them.
