Another glorious day on the water! It started out cool, sunny, and calm and ended up warm, sunny, and calm. We cruised about 45 miles today. We anchored out in an oxbow south of Lake George. It is peaceful and calm here, although there are supposed to be lots of alligators in this river. So far, we haven't seen any, but we were told that if we go outside at night and shine a flashlight around, we would see lots of alligator eyes looking back at us. I think I'll try that tonight. We have only one or maybe two days left of traveling until we reach our winter "home". We will be staying at Monroe Harbor for several months.
