Mon. through Thurs., March 15th through 18th

Monday- Mike and Linda, and John and I toured the Edison and Ford Museums and Winter Estates. They were both so smart, ambitious, and creative. We were all terribly impressed. Their homes are situated on the water on a perfectly wonderful piece of property. It was fun to walk around and imagine what life was like in their day. After the tour, we had lunch at Sundown Tiki. It was a most pleasant day.

Tuesday- Today we (Mike and Linda, John and I) took the small boats out to the mooring balls to meet Norm and Sue. They were trying to pick up the mooring ball loop with their boat hook when we got there. We pulled alongside of their boat and looped the rope through for them. After we visited for awhile on their aft deck, we took the dinghies to Parrot Key restaurant for dinner. Another food event.

Wednesday- Today is St. Patrick's Day. It is a very big deal here at Fort Myers Beach. They had a parade at 10:00 A.M. in the rain. Norm and Sue, and Norm's cousin Fred came by dinghy to party with us. We went to Castaways for lunch and music. Then we went to our boat for happy hour. Mike and Linda joined us. Norm, Sue, and Fred left before dark to go back and Mike and Linda, John and I went back to Castaways for dinner and music. People had on the most unusual outfits all day for St. Patrick's Day.
Gina said Clara made leprechaun tracks in school. When she got home, they put them around the house. Apparently, the leprechauns came and played a trick on them. They turned their furniture upside down. Oh my!

Thursday- Today it was supposed to rain and it was cold. So, we did some maintenance work on the boat and installed a 4-pole fishing pole rack on the ceiling of the aft deck. It wasn't a totally wasted day. We are also watching March Madness Basketball.
